DR2Cloud Service Description
Replicated data (Protected Data) is stored at a single data centre within the chosen region (Region).

An End User site (Source Site) running a supported hypervisor, or a supported public cloud has the Zerto components (Client) deployed and connected to the local hypervisor or public cloud.

Each source site is paired to a Region containing a dedicated Recovery Virtual Data centre (Recovery Site) providing the compute storage and networking infrastructure (including a virtual firewall and up to 100Mbps Internet breakout) to run a Recovered VM for both live and test failovers.

The Source Site Client is paired to the Region securely through a suitable VPN connection enabling Protected Data to be stored within the Region.

Virtual machines are added to a Virtual Protection Group (Protected VM) specifying the Recovery Site, priority, journal history (checkpoint retention) and network configuration.

Target Recovery Point Objective (RPO) is < 60 seconds subject to available bandwidth and all recommended best practices being followed as instructed.

Target Recovery Time Objective (RTO) is < 5 minutes per Protected VM.

All VPGs are boot tested monthly in an isolated environment with no impact to the Source Site to verify data and recovery integrity.

Failover Tests in an isolated environment for application and data testing by the End User for all Protected VMs are provided, as shown in the DR2Cloud Order Form subject to the terms in the DR Testing Appendix.

Management of the VPGs and Live failovers are made available through either the Source Site Zerto User Interface (web portal) or the hosted DR2Cloud Self-Service Portal.

Live failovers can also be requested on demand subject to the terms in the DR Testing Appendix.

Management of the Recovery Site and any failed over Protected VMs is made available through the Recovery Site management portal.

Live and historical analytics on the platform’s performance are made available through the My2Cloud Portal.
